Camelot’s Northwest Center for Autism featured in Family Time Magazine
Family Time Magazine, a publication that highlights information and resources for Chicago-area parents, wrote about Camelot’s Northwest Center for Autism (NWCA) in their January issue. This school based in DeKalb, Illinois, has been working with families, therapists, school districts and caregivers since 2002 to provide autistic children with individual attention and tailored assessments. NWCA begins working with children as early as three years old and extends the program for adults up to the age of 21. After a child turns 18 NWCA’s adult prep program helps students transition into adulthood with job training and independent living skills.
In addition to NWCA, Camelot Education runs six other Therapeutic Day Schools in Illinois that work with children who have been identified as on the autism spectrum or developmentally delayed.
