Therapeutic day School

Camelot of the Quad Cities, the Quad Cities’ first-ever private therapeutic school, held its official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting in Moline, Ill. on December 10.  The celebration brought together Camelot staff, students and leadership with officials from the city of Moline and the Moline Chamber of Commerce, the Moline-Coal Valley School District, and a representative from Congresswoman Cheri Bustos’s office.

WQAD Quad Cities reporter Jonathan Ketz stopped by the school for a preview of the event on Wednesday morning before the grand opening, which included footage of the school’s unique classrooms.  Later in the afternoon, WQAD Quad Cities reporter Brittany Lewis attended the ribbon cutting and interviewed eighth grade student Keegan, who was the first in the school to earn a place in student government.

A reporter from the Quad Cities Dispatch Argus was also on hand at the event and published a story.
